Meghan Cameron Certified Pilates Teacher & Studio Owner Certified on all Apparatus from Body Tonic, NYC 2005 3rd Generation (lineage from Joe Pilates) BA in Modern Dance, Point Park Conservatory
I have been practicing Pilates for the last 15 years and have been
teaching Pilates for 10 years. Throughout my teaching career I have had
the pleasure of teaching at several studios in the northeast as well as Hawaii
and have taught clients from age 5yrs. old to 93yrs. old. I enjoy teaching
Pilates on the mat and apparatus to every type of individual: men, women, kids,
athletes, pregnant, injured, weak, strong, and people of all ages and body
types.
I took my first Pilates class while at school for Modern Dance and
was overwhelmed by the physical feedback I received and the way I was able
to improve my dance technique and posture. Before doing Pilates I had back
pain and spasms. I had overdeveloped back muscles, a weak core, tightness
everywhere and pain. After doing Pilates for a semester, I was hooked. My
back pain subsided, my body gained strength where it was weak and flexibility
where it was tight. I knew right away that I wanted to teach Pilates
and help others experience it’s numerous benefits!
By focusing on building core strength and overall body
awareness, I strive to inspire my clients to gain total body flexibility,
leanness, strength, confidence and an improved mind body connection. I believe
your form and proper alignment are the keys, along with practice and
consistency to obtaining your long and short term personal goals. I am
constantly learning, have never been bored teaching and have never taught the
same class twice!
Kyleigh received a Bachelor of Arts
Degree, with Cum Laude recognition, from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in
Geneva, New York. Shortly after graduation, she was introduced to
Pilates. The mind body connection associated with the Pilates method resonated
with her and as a result, she was able to overcome life-long postural
challenges through consistent practice. Kyleigh’s personal transformation made
her a believer in Joseph Pilates premise that, “in ten sessions you feel
better, in 20 sessions you will look better and in 30 sessions you will have a
completely new body.” It also inspired her to make a commitment to a
teacher training program in Classical Pilates for basic, intermediate and
advanced Pilates mat as well as full Apparatus training, levels I-V. She
received her certification from Pilates Plus in Rochester, NY.
She is certified in Pilates,
NASM and TRX. Kyleigh is a firm believer in actively involving her clients in
the learning process and she believes that it is essential for clients to
become aware of their own body mechanics. She enjoys helping her clients to
reach their fitness goals, whether it is greater athleticism, more stamina,
increased functional ability, or a smaller pants size! All in all,
Pilates is the answer.
Kyleigh is constantly looking to
challenge herself and take her body to new levels. In the fall of 2013, Kyleigh
competed in INBF Best Body Bikini Competition. In her free time, she enjoys
golf, waterskiing, paddle boarding, Qigong meditation, traveling, cooking and
spending time with her family.

_From my very first Pilates class, I
was instantly hooked. I still remember the feeling of walking out of the class
– my mind was refreshed and my body was energized with the kind of energy that
you get when you do something really great for your body…while also working really
hard. I knew that I had just discovered something that would change my life.
Fast-forward to today and I am
working on becoming a Certified Pilates Mat Instructor. Since my first class
years ago, I have been practicing Pilates almost daily and have practiced at
studios across the east coast. I am so excited to now be on the other side of
the mat and cannot wait to share my passion with all of you.
A dancer all my life, I instantly
took to the Pilates technique, methodology and mind-body connection. But
Pilates is for everyone – whether you never exercise, work out daily, or
anything in between. While I was a dancer, I taught classes to fellow students
and absolutely loved the process of helping people become the best version of
themselves. Pilates will help you do that. It will push you, and some days will
be better than others. But you will grow, and your body will feel better than
ever before. Pilates helps with just about everything - your posture, your six
pack, your back pain...you name it and I will develop a routine to help you.
When people ask me about Pilates, I
tell them two things. 1) Pilates will make you feel stronger than ever before.
Not just physically, but mentally. You’ll start to feel your muscles get leaner
and longer and you’ll also notice that after class, your mind will be at ease
and you’ll feel accomplished. 2) Pilates is not just an exercise, it is a
practice. And the more you do it, the better you get. And the better you get,
the further it pushes you. Some days you’ll hit the ground (or mat) running and
rock it through every move…and other days you’ll find yourself having to really
push through the class. That’s ok. That’s what Pilates is all about – the
balance of life, the ups-and-downs and working your mind and body to the best
you can be at that very moment.

My teaching experiences began at the YMCA of
Greater Rochester. I covered a lot of different fundamentals through Fitness
Specialist, Cycling, and Rubber resistance instruction before I chose to become
a personal trainer & fully pursue both Yoga and Pilates Teacher
Certifications. Once
I began focusing on mind body exercise, everything in my life began to change.
My type A personality became obsolete. I learned to let go of stress as my body
became stronger, leaner, and more flexible (something I still strive to find
some days). My apprenticeship at a local Pilates Studio covered over 500 hours
training and teaching within levels I-III. This training included Matwork,
Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and small equipment.
I was a Registered Nurse for over forty years, specializing in Diabetes Education and patient empowerment.
I attempt to see the perfect spirits inhabiting the imperfect bodies of myself and my clients/ patients and acknowledge and honor our connections.
I’ve always believed if we can find and embrace our inner source strength, we will discover that we already have all of the answers we need to live a healthy, joyful and satisfying life. stephanie betzwieser certified Pilates mat instructor
Stephanie has been practicing
Pilates since 2002. She discovered it while taking fitness classes in college
and quickly fell in love with this method of exercise. Stephanie has
since integrated Pilates in her daily workout regiment. A couple years
ago Stephanie had the opportunity to become certified in Classic Mat
Pilates and she took full advantage. She has been fully certified and has been
instructing since 2012. Pilates is a method,
not a workout (although it feels like one!). It focuses on controlled
movements, aligning the body, breathing and strengthening the
"Powerhouse" (our body's core). Overtime, and with practicing
consistently, Pilates can lengthen the body, improve flexibility and
balance, build lean muscle, and give our bodies an overall strength.
For every movement in
this method there are modifications making Pilates a workout for anyone at any
level: beginner or advanced. Intensity can always be increased overtime as your
body becomes stronger. This is the advantage to Pilates.... Anyone can do it!
Although Stephanie is
trained under the Classic Pilates mat routine, she likes to spice things up by
adding props ( weights, rollers, and rings) as well as other exercises that
aren't considered under the Pilates method. She feels it's always good to keep
the body "on its toes" so to speak, and mix things up. Most
importantly, Stephanie loves to motivate people to stay fit and active and
wants to encourage everyone to gives Pilates a try!

Yoga works 200 Teacher Training Program 2013
I have been practicing Yoga for about 10 years now and it
has shown me so much about myself, who I want to be and the world we live in.
Mostly, Yoga has brought calmness to my life and has taught me how to deal with
the storms that can surround you every day. In yoga you learn to find your
inner strength and peace in a pose that can set your body on fire. I have found
that finding peace on my mat has made it easier for me to find it off the mat
as well. In figuring this out for myself I decided that teaching Yoga and
sharing what I have learned was the right path for me to be on. I cannot think
of a better way to come together than through Yoga. I know how I feel after
practicing and my intention is to have my student’s walk away feeling stronger,
calmer and rejuvenated.
